This installation combining drawings with video is a horizontal reading of Réunion Island. Each drawings displays a portion of a geographical area into a condensed territory (Southeast, Northwest../.)This process is performed from impressions and recollections, some of them voluntarily omitted,thus interspersing the design with blanks.The video loop is a succession of coastal views regularly charting the island. The horizon divides the image right in the middle of the screen. Drawings and video offer two different perceptions of the island.
