The Research structure on landscape in Réunion École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts guests artists whore are invited to conduct a research on the Reunionese landscape within artistic residences at the Dos d’Ane Center.
I wanted to connect the experience of island landscape to the experience of exile. At first, drawing became an observation tool to let memory and oblivion recompose new territories in a second step. These latter were designed according to a vertical and an horizontal reading of the island.
The whole work was then displayed at the Médiathèque Benoîte Boulard, in Le Port in may 2011.
