These are portraits of my relatives projected onto pieces of canvas, themselves part of the family herbarium. The plants recall their birthplace which they have to leave later. As they run through the super 8 projector, the super 8 loops are being progressively deteriorated thus deleting the pictures of the persons while the herbal scenery remains still and clear. A video version (VHS) of the super 8 loop can be provided.
